Pop Your Way Into The Pacers Playoffs With Pat McAfee

Updated April 30, 2013 – Today at 2pm, Pacers fans will start lining up to participate in the Pop Your Way Into The Pacers Playoffs promotion with Pat McAfee. Shortly after the line starts to form, fans can expet to hear music from DJ Indiana Jones and DJ Gabby Love, take photos with members of the Indiana Pacemates, and hang out with Boomer, the Pacers mascot. At 4pm, the first Pacers fan in line will be able to throw a dart at one of the blue or gold balloons. For ever popped blue balloon, a Pacers fan will win two tickets to tomorrow’s Game 5 matchup against Atlanta. For every gold balloon, a fan will win two tickets in the Lower Level or Krieg DeVault Club Level plus a Pacers T-shirt. One lucky fun who pops a secretly-marked gold balloon will win four tickets in the Courtside location and a pregame dinner with Pat McAfee in the Locker Room Restaurant, which is located adjacent to the Pacers Locker Room and is an exclusive area for fans sitting in the Courtside seats.
Important Details:
- Get here early and have fun. The line starts at 2pm with the first throw by 4pm. During that time, you can listen to music and hang out with the Pacemates and Boomer.
- Be ready to throw. Once you’re directed to the Balloon Board, make sure you’re ready to go.
- Get the Grand Prize. Only Pat McAfee knows which gold balloon is secretly marked. If you pop that balloon, you’ll get Courtside tickets and dinner with Pat.
- Wednesday at 8pm. If you win tickets, then they will be for tomorrow’s Game 5 matchup. Tip off is at 8pm in Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

April 29, 2013 – Earlier today, Pat McAfee announced on Twitter that he purchased Pacers Playoff prizes for up to 500 lucky Pacers fans. Starting at 4:00 p.m. tomorrow in Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Pacers fans will be able to participate in a carnival-style dart game with each popped balloon being eligible for one of Pat’s Pacers prizes. The Grand Prize Winner will win four courtside tickets to Wednesday’s Game 5 against Atlanta and a pregame dinner in the Locker Room Restaurant with Pat McAfee.
The event, promoted as Pop Your Way Into The Pacers Playoffs with Pat McAfee, takes place in the Indiana University Health Entry Pavilion of Bankers Life Fieldhouse tomorrow, April 30, at 4:00 p.m. Fans interested in participating can begin forming the line in the Indiana University Health Entry Pavilion at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, April 30. The event will end when all of the blue and gold balloons have been popped, which will be approximately 6:00 p.m.
In order to win a prize from Pat, fans must throw a dart at the Pacers Prize Balloon Board and pop one of the blue or gold balloons. Fans that pop a blue balloon will win two tickets in the Balcony Level to Wednesday’s Game 5 courtesy of Pat. Fans that pop a gold balloon will win two tickets in the Lower Level or Krieg DeVault Club Level to Wednesday’s Game 5 and a Pacers T-shirt courtesy of Pat. One of the gold balloons will be randomly marked with the winner receiving the Grand Prize of four courtside tickets and a pregame dinner in the Locker Room Restaurant with Pat McAfee. The throwing order will be determined by the line order, which will begin to form at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each fan will get one throw at the board. If she or he pops a balloon, then the prize will be provided immediately. If a balloon is not popped, then she or he can get back in line. Prizes will be distributed until all balloons are popped.
