Paul George's USA Basketball Schedule

Pacers forward Paul George is officially part of the 12-player USA Basketball Men's National Team headed to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. George is the first active Pacers player to be named to an Olympic roster since Reggie Miller helped the Stars and Stripes win a gold medal in 1996 in Atlanta.

George and the rest of the star-studded USA roster will be hoping to pull off a similar feat in Rio. The United States has won a gold medal in men's basketball 14 times, including the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games.

USA Basketball has five exhibition games this year before heading to Brazil. In Rio, the 12 teams that qualified for the Olympics will be placed into two groups of six teams. All teams will play one game against each of the five other teams in its group. The top four teams in each group will then advance to the "knockout" phase: an eight-team, single elimination tournament.
