Pacers Sign A.J. Price

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Pacers announced Thursday they have signed free agent point guard A.J. Price. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not released.

Price played the first three seasons of his career with Indiana, appearing in 150 career games and averaging 6.0 points and 2.0 assists per game for the Pacers from 2009-12.  Overall, the five-year veteran has averaged 5.9 points and 2.2 assists per game in 235 career games with the Pacers, Washington Wizards and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Price played in six preseason games for the Cleveland Cavaliers this season, averaging 7.2 points and 1.5 assists in 13.3 minutes per game. He was waived by the Cavaliers on November 1.
