The Indiana Pacers announced Wednesday they have recalled forward Rakeem Christmas from their affiliate in the NBA’s Development League, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
Christmas appeared with two games while on assignment with the Mad Ants, averaging 7.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks while shooting 50 percent from the field.
Christmas has appeared in six games so far in his second season for the Pacers, averaging 1.3 points and 0.8 rebounds per game. The 6-9 forward out of Syracuse has also played in seven games on assignment with the Mad Ants, averaging 10 points, 5.7 boards, and 1.3 blocks per contest.
