Pacers Foundation, Inc. Announces TeamUp Scholarship Recipients Presented by Miller Lite

INDIANAPOLIS, June 17, 2003 -- Pacers Foundation, Inc. has announced its five scholarship recipients for the Pacers TeamUp Scholarship presented by Miller Lite. The TeamUp Scholarship presented by Miller Lite recognizes Indiana high school seniors for their outstanding service to the community. Through the TeamUp Scholarship presented by Miller Lite, the Pacers Foundation awards five $2,000 scholarships, which can be used at any accredited four-year college or two-year community or junior college. The scholarship recognizes Indiana high school seniors for the outstanding community service.

The scholarship recipients are:

Lance Chapman from Woodburn, Indiana. Mr. Chapman graduated from Woodburn High School and will attend The University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana.

Meredith Dolk from Indianapolis, Indiana. Ms. Dolk graduated from Franklin Central High School and will attend Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Jenna McCroskey from Kokomo, Indiana. Ms. McCroskey graduated from Kokomo High School and will attend Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

Elliott Morris from Columbus, Indiana. Mr. Morris graduated from Columbus East High School and will attend Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota.

Savannah Swearingen from Centerville, Indiana. Ms. Swearingen graduated from Centerville Senior High School and will attend The University of Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Since its inception in 1993, the Pacers Foundation has awarded more than $3,000,000 in cash and in-kind donations to organizations that serve youth in Indiana. The Pacers Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of Indiana's young people by building individual and corporate partnerships that will provide assistance for projects that benefit Indiana's youth.
