Pacers “Ballhog Day” Returns This Monday

INDIANAPOLIS – Almost everyone knows that for over 100 years on Feb. 2 in tiny Punxsutawney, Pa., Phil the Groundhog has seen his shadow over 80% of the time resulting in an additional six weeks of winter weather. In response, Indiana Pacers mascot Boomer will once again appear on the same day in his basketball-themed holiday, Pacers “Ballhog Day”.  And, if Boomer sees his shadow, then Pacers fans will get 24-hour access to great offers on six select home games scheduled over the next six weeks. This offer is only available for 24 hours starting at noon on Monday, Feb. 2, 2015.

The Pacers “Ballhog Day” offer will be available Monday, Feb. 2, starting at noon ET at Pacers.com/Ballhog. If Boomer sees his shadow that morning, then fans can get Balcony Level tickets starting at $9 or Lower Level tickets starting at $49 for any of the following home Pacers games: Feb. 9 vs. Tim Duncan and the defending-champion San Antonio Spurs, March 1 vs. Michael Carter-Williams and the Philadelphia 76ers, March 4 vs. Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks, March 10 vs. Victor Oladipo and the Orlando Magic, March 12 vs. Jabari Parker and the Milwaukee Bucks, and March 16 vs. Kyle Lowry and the Toronto Raptors.

This offer is exclusively available at Pacers.com/Ballhog and is only available for 24 hours or until tickets allocated to the promotion are no longer available. To find out if Boomer sees his shadow, make sure to visit Pacers.com/Ballhog the morning of Monday, Feb. 2.
