Williams traded, Foster extended
In separate moves announced simultaneously, the Pacers traded Shawne Williams to Dallas for Eddie Jones, two second-round picks and cash; they also extended the contract of veteran center Jeff Foster through through the 2010-11 season. Also: Pacers reach agreement with Jones

Murray flips to Atlanta
Veteran guard Ronald "Flip" Murray, who averaged who averaged 11.0 points and 3.5 assists in 23 games with the Pacers last season, signed a free-agent contract with the Atlanta Hawks on Aug. 13.

Veteran Rush signs with 76ers
There won't be a family reunion this season, as Kareem Rush signed with the Philadelphia 76ers. The veteran shooting guard who averaged 8.3 points with the Pacers last season is the older brother of Brandon Rush, the No. 13 pick acquired on draft night in the trade with Portland.

It's official: Deals are done
The Indiana Pacers announced Wednesday two trades that bring seven new faces to the team. In a deal with Toronto, the Pacers acquired T.J. Ford, Rasho Nesterovic, Maceo Baston and Roy Hibbert (the 17th overall pick in June’s NBA draft) for Jermaine O’Neal and Nathan Jawai (the 41st pick in the draft). In a trade with Portland, the Pacers receive Jarrett Jack, Josh McRoberts and Brandon Rush (13th overall pick in the draft) in exchange for Ike Diogu and Jerryd Bayless (the 11th pick in the draft).
