Indianapolis, October 4, 2002 - Reggie Miller will be honored, along with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, as the Most Caring Athletes for 2002 by USA Weekend, a Sunday supplement used in Gannett newspapers nationwide.

Miller donated $206,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to benefit victims of the attack on the World Trade Center last Sept. 11. He also participates in the NBA "Reading is Fundamental" program and is a benefactor of the Riley Hospital burn unit as well as Braveheart's Burn Camp and the Indiana Hoosier Burn Camp.

Miller also hosts an annual celebrity bowl-a-thon for charity and is an active participant with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, meeting ailing children before nearly every home game.
