Habitat for Humanity project

The Indiana Pacers and the Indiana Fever have teamed up with WXIN FOX 59 and Williams Comfort Air to help and assist in the building of a house for a Indianapolis mom, her four children and one grand child for Habitat House. The first stage began on Friday, June 17, when Boomer and two Pacemates helped assist volunteers and members of the FOX 59 family in building a foundation in the parking lot at the FOX studios on the northwest side of Indianapolis.

The house will eventually be completed by mid August on the near southeast side of Indy.

“This is an opportunity for us to be involved in a project that we can touch and feel from beginning to end,” offered Pacers COO Rick Fuson. “Indiana is our home. And if we could help Fox 59 and Williams Comfort Air in providing a ‘home’ for a Hoosier family, we wanted to be there.”
