Participants in Hoosier Basketball Celebration, including members of the Pacers and basketball legends, will dribble basketballs from Monument Circle to Conseco Fieldhouse in an attempt to set a Guinness World Record™ for the most people dribbling. The first 5,000 people to register for the Hoosier Basketball Celebration dribble parade will receive a free Spalding basketball and an adidas T-shirt. Fans can pre-register by clicking here.

“Growing up and playing basketball in Indiana, I know what the game means to all of us,” said Indiana Pacers President of Basketball Operations Larry Bird. “As the Pacers, Indiana colleges and high school teams prepare for the upcoming season; we want everyone to be a part of this celebration with current and former members of the Pacers, area college players, your friends and teammates.”

Participation in Hoosier Basketball Celebration is open to all who embrace the game of basketball at any level throughout the state of Indiana. Check-in for the dribble parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monument Circle. Participants in the dribble parade will receive priority seating at Conseco Fieldhouse. If pre-registration is full, fans are encouraged to come to Monument Circle with your own basketball and take part in the dribble parade and other activities in Conseco Fieldhouse.

The dribble parade will begin at Monument Circle and head south on Meridian Street, then east on Georgia Street entering Conseco Fieldhouse from the Pennsylvania Street side. For a schedule of events or additional information, please click here.

Conseco Fieldhouse will open at 3:30 p.m. for fans and non-participants in the dribble parade. Upon completion of the dribble parade, approximately 5:00 p.m., the program will begin in Conseco Fieldhouse. The program will feature live music, Pacers coaches and player introductions, interactive discussions with basketball legends, skills challenges with players, fans and celebrities, performances by the Indiana Pacemates and additional entertaining skits. Fans will be able to purchase select items at the concession stands for $1 during the event.

Following the program in Conseco Fieldhouse, fans will have the opportunity to shoot on the Pacers’ basketball court.

Hoosier Basketball Celebration…It’s Our Game is presented by the Indiana Pacers and Conseco.
