George Hill Nominated for 2013-14 Seasonlong Kia Community Assist Award

Indiana Pacers point guard George Hill is nominated for the Seasonlong Kia Community Assist Award in recognition of his efforts in the community and his humanitarian work. The winner of the award will be determined by fan voting, which runs from Monday, April 21 (through Monday, May 5). Pacers fans can vote for Hill on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram by using #KiaCommunityAssist and the nominee's first and last name (or #GeorgeHill).

Hill is committed to fighting hunger in both the U.S. and abroad. Through his work with Kids Against Hunger, Hill assisted in packing more than 59,000 meals that were distributed throughout Indianapolis and countries around the world. Hill is extremely committed to giving back to his home state of Indiana; he has committed to hosting two packing events per season in Indianapolis. While his main focus is combating world hunger, Hill also works very closely with active military members who are experiencing financial hardships.
