FSN Indiana News Release | Oct. 31, 2006

FSN Indiana, a new regional sports network, launches Wednesday (Nov. 1) with the Indiana Pacers season opener and a week full of Pacers programming.

The Pacers and Charlotte Bobcats open the season Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Chris Denari, in his first regular season Pacers telecast, calls the play-by-play alongside Clark Kellogg. Stacy Paetz hosts Pacers Live and reports throughout the game. The game is preceded by two hours of Pacers programming, including an encore presentation of the FSN documentary Beyond The Glory: Reggie Miller, FSN’s Pacers Season Preview special and the Pacers Live pre-game show. Pacers Live post-game follows the game.

FSN Indiana also telecasts the Pacers home opener vs. the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets on Friday (Nov. 3) from Conseco Fieldhouse (Denari/Quinn Buckner/Paetz), and the Pacers visit to New York to take on the Knicks on Saturday (Denari/Kellogg/Paetz).

FSN Indiana follows with four more Pacers telecasts next week. The channel is now the exclusive local television home of Pacers basketball, and will carry 72 regular season games (plus two pre-season games) per season.

On cable, fans will find FSN Indiana at the same channel number on which they’ve always watched FSN. On satellite, fans will find FSN national programming (and FSN regional events) on the main FSN Midwest channel number (DirecTV - 647; Dish Network - 418). But they’ll find Pacers games on FSN Indiana on an alternate channel (DirecTV - 663; Dish Network - it will vary, between 440 and 455).

FSN Indiana, a regional sports television network, telecasts more than 200 regional events annually including Indiana Pacers basketball, Indiana Fever basketball Cincinnati Reds baseball and St. Louis Blues hockey. In addition to home team games and locally produced sports programs, FSN televises national sports events and programming, including Pac-10 and ACC basketball; Pac-10 and Big 12 football; Best Damn Sports Show Period and The FSN Final Score.
