Comcast adds FSI to Fort Wayne XFINITYlineup

Comcast will add FOX Sports Indiana to its Fort Wayne and Huntington Xfinity TV channel lineup on Thursday, Dec. 16, bringing the Indiana Pacers and much more – including 400 live NBA, MLB and NHL games each year – to local sports fans.

FOX Sports Indiana will televise:

  • 72 regular season Pacers games in 2010-11, all in high definition, as the Pacers look to climb back into the NBA playoffs with a young, high-scoring lineup
  • 95 Cincinnati Reds games
  • 30 St. Louis Blues games
  • Indiana Fever games
  • More than 150 college basketball games and 40 college football games from the Big 12, Pac-10, ACC and SEC

FOX Sports Indiana will reside on standard definition channel 8 and HD channel 1652.

Fort Wayne customers with the Digital Starter package and above will also receive FOX Sports Indiana Plus on channel 9. FOX Sports Indiana Plus will show:

  • 150 Detroit Tigers games
  • 70 Detroit Pistons games
  • CCHA hockey and more

Comcast and FOX Sports Indiana will celebrate the addition of the channel with a launch event on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at the Boys & Girls Club of Fort Wayne. Pacers mascot Boomer will perform his acrobatic basketball “dunk show,” sign autographs and take pictures with the kids at the Boys & Girls Club. FOX Sports Indiana Pacers play-by-play announcer Chris Denari will emcee.
