Ceremony Details and Attendee List

Mel Daniels and Reggie Miller will proudly be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame tonight in Springfield, Massachusetts. The Springfield Symphony Hall is the place to be for basketball enthusiasts.

The enshrinement ceremony for the 12-member Class of 2012 is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. EST on NBATV. The Indiana Pacers will be well-represented to celebrate the impact and accomplishments of Daniels and Miller.

Below is a list of figures attending with Pacers ties, both past and present:

  • Donnie Walsh – President of Basketball Operations
  • Larry Bird – former head coach (1997-2000) and President of Basketball Operations (2003-2012)
  • Jim Morris – Pacers President
  • Slick Leonard –– current Pacers Radio Network color analyst, former head coach
  • Jeff Foster – forward/center (1999-2012)
  • Mark Jackson – point guard (1994-1996, 1997-2000)
  • Austin Croshere – current analyst on Pacers radio and television broadcasts, forward (1997-2006)
  • David Benner – Director of Public Information
  • David Craig – former team trainer of 35 years
  • Courtney Witte – worked in a variety roles with Indiana for 11 years, current 76ers Director of Player Personnel
  • George Irvine – head coach (1984-1986, 1988-1989)
  • Dave Twardzik – assistant coach (1986-1989)

Three more of Miller’s teammates may be in attendance, though they are not confirmed:

  • Travis Best – point guard (1995-2002)
  • Vern Fleming – point guard (1984-1995)
  • Dale Davis – forward/center (1991-2000, 2005)

Mel Daniels will be presented by Wayne Embry and Artis Gilmore.

Reggie Miller will be presented by his sister Cheryl, Charles Barkley and Magic Johnson.
