Pacers Forward Josh McRoberts, Boomer and Pacemates Courtney and Sarrah attended the 6th annual Cayman and Tyler’s 3 on 3 basketball tournament benefiting the Cheer Guild at Riley Hospital for Children. The Cheer Guild provides toys for the patients who are receiving treatment at Riley.
Cayman, a fifteen year old at Center Grove High School started this 3 on 3 basketball tournament 6 years ago after visiting his friend Tyler who was a patient at Riley. While visiting, Cayman noticed that the toys were outdated or didn’t work properly. Tyler has since passed from Leukemia but Cayman continues to provide for the patients at Riley through this basketball tournament. All proceeds from the tournament go directly to the Cheer Guild. His sister Olivia hosted the first annual 5k run for the Cheer Guild today. For more information about the Cheer Guild please visit www.cheerguild.org.
