Why make it Ballhog Day?

The past 116 years, Phil the Groundhog has seen his shadow 86% of the time. That’s pretty impressive considering only 13 NBA players have a higher free throw percentage this season (as of January 23, 2013). Unfortunately, each successful shadow view results in six more weeks of winter.
With near-record low temperatures in January, Boomer can’t stand to let Phil’s reign continue. Therefore, Boomer plans to turn a negative into a positive by providing great ticket offers if he sees his shadow.

So what happens if Boomer sees his shadow?

If Boomer sees his shadow, then Pacers fans can get select tickets ranging from $6 to $60 for six home games scheduled over the next six weeks. And if he doesn’t see his shadow, then Pacers fans can get the same offer for home games scheduled over the next two weeks (you know, because summer is only two weeks away).

How do I know if Boomer sees his shadow?

On Feb. 1 at 9:00am, Boomer will wake up and immediately step outside. A photo gallery will be posted shortly he returns.

Shouldn’t Ballhog Day be on February 2?

Technically, it is on February 2. However, Boomer decided to move it a day earlier so fans could celebrate on a weekday. If he sees his shadow, then the offer will remain valid through Feb. 2 as it will be available for 48 hours.

What games are included in the offer?

If Boomer sees his shadow, then Pacers fans can purchase tickets at the special Ballhog Day prices for any of the following home games: Friday, Feb. 8 vs. Toronto; Monday, Feb. 11 vs. Brooklyn; Friday, Feb. 22 vs. Detroit; Tuesday, Feb. 26 vs. Golden State; Wednesday, March 6 vs. Boston; or Wednesday, March 13 vs. Minnesota. If Boomer doesn’t see his shadow, then fans can purchase tickets for $6 for either of the following home games: Friday, Feb. 8 vs. Toronto or Monday, Feb. 11 vs. Brooklyn.

What are the ticket prices?

Select tickets in the Balcony Level will be available at $6 and select tickets in the Lower Level will be available at $60. That’s a savings of up to 54%!

What strings are attached?

The offer is limited and subject to availability. No other discounts or promotions can be used with this offer. The offer will end on Sunday, Feb. 3, at 10:00 a.m. or when tickets allocated to this promotion are no longer available, whichever comes first.
