Last night's 111-101 victory over Detroit was Mark Boyle's 2,000th NBA broadcast. During the game, members from Roy Hibbert's Area 55 showed their appreciation for Mark by holding three different Mark Boyle "big heads" throughout the evening.

"I can tell you that there are a few games that I could use as a ringtone," said Michael Huser, Area 55's lead air guitarist. "Those are great. I have them etched in my head."

Between the first and second quarter, Pacers President of Basketball Operations Larry Bird presented Mark with a game ball, which was painted to acknowledge Mark's accomplishment of broadcasting 2,000 games. Mark showed his appreciation to the crowd and then returned to doing what he does best - calling the game.
