FSN Indiana to televise 74 Pacers games

Pacers News Release | Sept. 4, 2008

FSN Indiana announced the 2008-09 Indiana Pacers television schedule that includes 72 regular season games and two preseason games, including the team’s return to its original home.

The Pacers open their preseason and the TV schedule Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 7:00 p.m. when New Orleans visits the Pacers for a nostalgic evening. That game will be played in the Pepsi Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, where the franchise played from its inception in 1967 through 1974 and won three American Basketball Association championships. FSN Indiana will also carry the Pacers’ Oct. 10 preseason game at Fort Wayne, IN, against the Chicago Bulls.

Each of the Pacers’ first 25 regular season games will be televised, starting with the road opener, Oct. 29, at Detroit and the home opener, Nov. 1, against defending NBA Champion Boston. FSN Indiana’s 72-game regular season coverage will wrap up with the Pacers’ final game when they host Milwaukee on Wednesday, April 15.

Chris Denari returns for his third season as play-by-play announcer. Clark Kellogg and Quinn Buckner will provide analysis with Stacy Paetz hosting the pre and postgame shows and handling sideline reporting.

Coverage of every Pacers game on FSN Indiana begins and ends with the Pacers Live pregame and postgame shows, which originate from the game site.

FSN is entering its 13th season of Pacers telecasts and its third season as the exclusive television home of the Pacers.
