Quinn Buckner
Vice President/Communications, Pacers Sports & Entertainment Indiana Pacers, Cable TV Color Analyst
Quinn Buckner is in his tenth season as an analyst for the Pacers’ cable television games on FSN Indiana. In July 2004, Buckner was named the Vice President of Communications for Pacers Sports & Entertainment. He has served as a member of the Big Ten Advisory Council, Vice President of the NBPA (National Basketball Players Association) and was Vice President of USA Basketball (the body that selects Men’s and Women’s Olympic teams) Quinn is active in the Indianapolis community currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Pacers Foundation, Special Olympics Indiana, Community Health Foundation, the Indianapolis Zoological Society, Indiana Youth Institute and the YMCA.

He is an Indiana University graduate, with a degree in Business Management and Administration. Buckner played 10 seasons in the NBA, including 1983-84, when he was a member of Boston’s NBA Championship team. He also played for the Pacers in 1985-86. Buckner was captain of 2 Illinois State Championships in High School. He was captain of the 1976 Indiana University NCAA Championship team, the last college basketball team to go undefeated and win the national championship. He was the captain of the 1976 gold medal-winning U.S. Olympic Basketball team. He is one of 3 people in the history of basketball to win a Championship on every level, High School, College, Olympics and the NBA.
