KEVIN BOWER NAMED EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF PACERS SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT
INDIANAPOLIS – Kevin Bower has been elevated to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pacers Sports & Entertainment (PS&E). Bower, who came to PS&E in 2002, most recently has been Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO. His duties will include management of all financial matters as well as human resources and information technology.
Bower, a native Hoosier, was born in Fort Wayne and grew up in South Bend. After attending Bentley University on a basketball scholarship and graduating with a BS in accounting, Bower started his career in Denver with the accounting firm, Schneider & Shuster. After five years in Denver, he returned to Indiana and continued his work in public accounting with Price Waterhouse.
Prior to joining the Pacers, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alltrista Corporation, a publicly traded manufacturer and distributor of niche consumer products. “This promotion recognizes Kevin’s valuable leadership in our organization,” stated Jim Morris, President of Pacers Sports & Entertainment. “His many skills and contributions are so important to our operations.”
Bower is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. He recently completed board service of the Rotary Club of Indianapolis and St.Vincent Foundation, and currently serves on the boards of Pacers Foundation and Mother Theodore Catholic Academies, as well as the Finance Committee of St. Vincent Foundation. He and his wife Maureen are parents of three children.
