Conseco 3-PT Charity Benefits Local Non-Profit Organizations

INDIANAPOLIS, March 17 -- Last month, 10 Indianapolis-area charities received a total of $13,900, thanks to the Conseco 3-pt charity program. Through this program, Conseco, Inc. contributes $50 to Pacers Foundation, Inc. for every 3-pt basket the Pacers make at Conseco Fieldhouse during the season. The foundation distributes the proceeds to 10 nonprofit organizations in Central Indiana.

Based on results for the 2004-05 season, Pacers Foundation and Conseco awarded $1,390 to each of the following charities:

Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville

Brooke's Place for Grieving Young People

Damar Services

Flanner House of Indianapolis

Joy's House

Little Red Door Cancer Agency

Martin Luther King Jr. Multi-Service Center

Prevail, Inc.

Special Olympics of Hamilton County

Pacers Foundation, Inc.
