The Pacers have three rookies on this year's team, and one of them, Orlando Johnson, makes his first visit to Denari's Den. Orlando was a second round draft pick in June, acquired by Indiana in a draft night trade with Sacramento. He was one of the best players to ever play at California-Santa Barbara and left as UCSB's all-time leading scorer. Ironically, he is the first player drafted from UCSB since Pacers' Associate Head Coach Brian Shaw left the Gauchos in 1988. Orlando talks about being a Pacers' rookie and how hard he has worked to overcome personal adversity. After his mom passed away, he was raised by his brothers and a sister-in-law. I know you will enjoy Orlando's visit to Denari's Den.
