Providing insight on Nuggets home-game telecasts for the fourth straight season is Scott Hastings.
An 11-year veteran of the NBA, Hastings was a member of the 1989 league champion Detroit Pistons and played for Denver from ’91-93. A four-year letterman at Arkansas, Hastings was named Honorable Mention All-American as a senior in ’82 and left as the school’s second all-time leading scorer (behind Sidney Moncrief) with 1,779 career points.
Originally drafted by the New York Knicks with the 29th selection of the 1982 NBA Draft, Hastings also played professionally for Atlanta and Miami in his career.
One of the most well-known media personalities in the Denver market, Hastings co-hosts a daily sports talk radio show on KOA. In addition, he is in his sixth season as the color analyst for the radio broadcasts of the Denver Broncos. It is believed that he is the only person in existence to possess two Super Bowl rings and an NBA Championship ring.
A native of Independence, Kan., Hastings resides in Littleton, Colo., with his wife, Judi, and their daughters Ashley (16), Allison (13) and son Andrew (8).
