Despite being out of the playoff race, the Denver Nuggets still have something to play for over their final four home games.

The Nuggets are 19-18 at Pepsi Center and can secure their 11th straight winning season at home with two more victories at altitude. They can take another step toward that goal when they face the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night.

One year after setting the long-distance standard in Utah, Nuggets guard Randy Foye is climbing the charts again in Denver.

With eight games remaining, Foye has made a team-leading 166 3-pointers, which is tied with Michael Adams for the fourth-most by a Nuggets player in a single-season.

Dale Ellis holds the team record with 192 3-pointers in 1996-97, while J.R. Smith made 180 in 2008-09. Adams is third on the list with 167 in 1990-91.

DENVER – The Denver Nuggets and Gold Crown Foundation have announced the rosters and coaches for The Show - 2014, Colorado’s High School All-Star Games at Pepsi Center. The game will be played on Saturday, April 12th. The 14th annual event selects 40 athletes and four coaches to participate in competition that brings together the best boys and girls basketball players in Colorado.

After putting in his usual work in the low post, Timofey Mozgov often spends time after practice extending his shooting range.

He starts with 15- to 18-foot shots and gradually moves behind the 3-point line.

Because of Mozgov’s diligence – and improving accuracy – in practice, Denver Nuggets coach Brian Shaw is starting to gain more trust in the 7-foot-1 center’s ability to knock down a perimeter shot.

That confidence was evident in the final seconds of Denver’s 94-92 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.
