Talk about making a summer splash.

Already a perennial playoff team, the Denver Nuggets got even better last week when they took part in the four-team, 12-player mega-trade that also included the Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers.

The deal brought All-Star and Olympian Andre Iguodala from Philadelphia to Denver and sent Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington and two future draft picks or Orlando.

DENVER, Aug. 10, 2012 – The Denver Nuggets have acquired All-Star G/F Andre Iguodala from the Philadelphia 76ers as part of a four-team trade, Nuggets Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Masai Ujiri announced today.

In exchange for Iguodala, the Nuggets sent G Arron Afflalo and F Al Harrington to the Orlando Magic, who traded C Dwight Howard, F Earl Clark and G Chris Duhon to the Los Angeles Lakers.
