When the Denver Nuggets played at Madison Square Garden last season, Kenneth Faried had one of the best seats in the house.

It was still difficult being a spectator.

Faried, a Newark, N.J. native, was trying to gain traction as an NBA rookie and did not play when the Nuggets beat the New York Knicks 119-114 in double-overtime on Jan. 21.

Less than a year later, he is averaging a double-double (12.8 points, 10.4 rebounds) and has started all 19 games for the Nuggets this season.
