Eight games, 15 days, big implications.
Locked in a battle with the Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies for the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, the Denver Nuggets are poised for a frenetic finish over the next two weeks.
Rather than worry about how things will shake out, the Nuggets are keeping the strategy simple.
“We just have to go out and try to win as many games as possible,” coach George Karl said.
After 23 years of dedicated service, the greatest mascot in professional sports has decided to retire.
Nuggets SuperMascot Rocky released a statement today saying his recent victory at Cartoon Network’s Hall of Game Awards, crowning him the world’s Most Awesome Mascot, and his 2008 induction into the Mascot Hall of Fame have left him with little left to accomplish.
“I’ve always wanted to go out on top,” the statement said. “The timing just feels right.”
DENVER, April 1, 2013 - Denver Nuggets coach George Karl was named Western Conference Coach of the Month for March, the NBA announced today.
