Nuggets Invite Four Players to Training Camp
DENVER, Oct. 2 -- The Denver Nuggets signed G

Anthony Carter, G
Antoine Hood and G
Corey Williams to their training camp roster, team Vice President of Basketball Operations Mark Warkentien announced today.
Ayuso averaged 21.2 ppg, 1.8 apg and 1.6 rpg in five games for Puerto Rico in this summer’s World Championships in Japan. He ranked fourth in the World Championships in scoring.
Carter has played seven NBA seasons with Miami, San Antonio and Minnesota. He averaged 3.3 ppg and 2.2 apg in 45 games with the Timberwolves last season and has career averages of 4.7 ppg and 3.7 apg in 362 career games.
Hood finished a four-year career with the Air Force Falcons where he played his senior season under former Nuggets Head Coach Jeff Bzdelik. Hood led the Falcons to a 24-7 record in 2005-06 and an NCAA tournament appearance for just the fourth time in school history.
Williams, who attended training camp with the Toronto Raptors last season, spent last season with the CBA’s Sioux Falls Skyforce. He averaged 14.2 ppg, 9.8 apg, 5.8 rpg and 2.00 spg in 27 games for the Skyforce. His assist average led the CBA.
The Nuggets begin training camp tomorrow in Durango, Colorado and their training camp roster sits at 18 players.
