Nuggets acquire Andre Miller, Jordan Hamilton, future pick

The Denver Nuggets have acquired the draft rights to Jordan Hamilton (26th pick) from Dallas and guard Andre Miller and a future second-round draft pick from Portland in exchange for guard Raymond Felton in a three-team draft-night trade.

Jordan Hamilton, an early entry candidate in the 2011 NBA Draft, spent two seasons at Texas. He was named Third-Team All-America by the Associated Press and earned All-Big 12 First Team honors as a sophomore. The 6-7 forward appeared in 36 games last season, averaging 18.6 points and 5.7 rebounds in 32.2 minutes per contest.

Andre Miller, a 12-year NBA veteran, returns Denver where he played from 2003-06. He appeared in 269 regular-season games for the Nuggets, averaging 14.0 points, 7.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds. Last season Miller played in 81 regular season games for Portland, averaging 12.7 points, 7.2 assists and 4.1 rebounds in 32.7 minutes per game.
