Nuggets Lend A Hand
In response to the disasters on the East Coast, the Denver Nuggets Community Fund, along with the six other Denver McCormick Tribune Foundation partners, are accepting donations to the Disaster Relief Fund, a fund of the Robert R. McCormick Tribune Foundation. Grants are made from the Disaster Relief Fund to organizations with 501(c)(3) status providing services to and addressing the needs of victims and families of the terrorist acts in New York City and Washington D.C.
The McCormick Tribune Foundation will match nationally the first $5 million raised at $0.50 on the dollar.
Priority will be given to programs providing services directly to victims and their families. Secondary priority will be given to community-wide programs.
No funds will be granted directly to individuals.
The Disaster Relief Fund does not make grants that financially benefit Tribune Company or any of its subsidiaries.
