DENVER, Aug. 9, 2013 – The Denver Nuggets have finalized their 2013 preseason schedule, which will feature seven games leading up to the Oct. 30 regular-season opener against the Sacramento Kings.

Denver will open the preseason with consecutive games against Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 6 and 8 in Southern California. New Nuggets coach Brian Shaw won three NBA titles with the Lakers as a player and two more as an assistant.

The Nuggets play two preseason games at Pepsi Center. They will take on the defending Western Conference champion San Antonio Spurs on Oct. 14 and play host to the Phoenix Suns on Oct. 23.

After playing the first NBA game at Mandalay Bay Events Center last fall, Denver will return to the Las Vegas venue to take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Oct. 19.

The remaining two preseason games are also on the road. The Nuggets play at Oklahoma City on Oct. 15 and at Chicago on Oct. 25.

All seven Nuggets preseason games will be carried live on the Altitude Radio Network, while Altitude Sports & Entertainment will televise Denver's two home games.
