Anthony Ranks Eighth in NBA Jersey Sales

NEW YORK, Dec. 15 – Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony is eighth on the NBA's most popular jersey list for the 2005-06 season. Anthony trails only Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat, who moved up eight spots to top this year's list replacing teammate Shaquille O’Neal, Allen Iverson of the Philadelphia 76ers, LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Stephon Marbury of the New York Knicks, Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami's O'Neal and Tracy McGrady of the Houston Rockets.

The rankings are based on sales at the world’s only NBA Store on Fifth Avenue in New York City and since the start of the 2005-06 NBA preseason.
