What part of your game do you think you can improve?

Driving the basketball.

What is your favorite pair of kicks to play in?

Jordan 10s white, black.

Who is your all-time favorite athlete?

Tracy McGrady – he was a versatile scorer, 2-3-4, great shooter, and had bounce.

Was he your favorite basketball player growing up?

For sure.

What inspired you to be a basketball player?

My mom pushed me into it. I didn’t like it at first, but I just kind of got into it when I got into eighth grade. I started liking it a lot.

Do you remember scoring your first points?

LaughsI don’t.

How did you develop your three-point game?

Last summer, I just worked on a lot of threes – repetition.

What’s your favorite movie?

That’s a tough one. I’ll have to say Stepbrothers.

How do you overcome challenges?

I just pray that God gives me strength and go out and work as hard as I possibly can.

What is your favorite Denver restaurant?

It has to be The Oceanaire.

What is your favorite part about being a Nugget?

My favorite part about being a Nugget is that I have great teammates that all hang out together and great chemistry.

Who is the funniest teammate?

Nate Robinson, hands down.

Why 00?

I’ve had that number since high school. It was given to me, and I just kept it because I thought it was good luck.

What you prepared you most for the NBA from your days at Kansas?

Everything. We had great coaches that knew what they were doing. They taught us great defensive tendencies, great offensive tendencies, and I think that’s what’s keeping me in the NBA.

Do you keep in touch with anyone from the championship team?

We keep in touch a little bit – Mario [Chalmers], Brandon Rush, I keep up with those guys a little bit. But with playing different teams and different schedules, it’s pretty tough.
