What's it like to have an entire verse written about you by Kendrick Lamar in the song Black Boy Fly?

(Laughs) It's pretty cool. It's cool. I went to school with Kendrick and he's doing really, really great.

You always seem so mentally prepared and motivated. What is your game day philosophy?

Just to be my best and try to win, so that's my focus every game.

Do you have a routine every game day?

No. Whatever they cook downstairs.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I don't know. Probably some island.

What was your biggest challenge in life and how did you overcome it?

Biggest challenge in life? That's a tough question. I don't know - just being successful in life. Being successful and persevering through tough times.

How did you feel coming back to Denver?

It felt great. I love my teammates, love the city, and hopefully this year, the team will get better.

What's your favorite part about being a Nugget?

Hmm... The fans.

What age did you start playing basketball?

Age two.

Who was your favorite player growing up?

Byron Scott.

Who do you admire most?

No one in particular.

Who is the hardest person to guard?

Probably Ty Lawson, he's pretty fast.

When you get on a roll scoring points, what part of your game feels most in rhythm?

All of it. <Smiles) It feels good.

What motivates you to approach your game both on and off the court in a classy manner?

Just being professional and being inspirational to others. I think when you do anything in life with class, it gives a certain sense of respectability that people want to follow.
