"As you know I have always been a stand up guy. I am not one to make excuses. However, I think we are a tired team right now, both mentally and physically. We have played four games in five nights. That is very hard to do with a lot of young players. We tried very hard tonight to get it done, but we did not get it done. The Knicks are a physical team. We just have to try and regroup over the next few days, both mentally and physically."

On Marcus Camby
"Marcus played real well tonight, he scored, rebounded and did some nice things defensively."

"New York has a lot of veterans, and they hit a lot of big shots which helped them get out of here with a win. I played with a lot of emotion tonight, we all wanted this win. It was great to see all the old guys again, but I really wanted to win this one. If I had a nickel for every time people in New York said they missed me, I would be a rich man. They miss me like crazy around there, and I miss them too. I am surprised that I did not start tonight, considering everything including missing the first game against them."

"Travis Knight stepped up big time. I was surprised he was able to contribute as long as he did tonight. He was very active, and very alert defensively. Marcus Camby changed the game. We have to be able to see where he is."

"It was a good win tonight, the downside is that we did not have Othella Harrington. It is nice to break the losing streak. Coming out after the half we were not making our shots. Our defense stepped it up in the fourth quarter, and in the fourth quarter we started to hit our shots. Marcus Camby shot the ball well, and it was nice to see him, we were talking a lot. I wondered why he did not play more. Travis Knight was huge. He got a little winded."
