NewsletterDrexler to Coach at Pre-Draft Camp
May 9 - Denver Nuggets assistant coach Clyde Drexler has been selected to coach at the 2002 NBA Pre-Draft Camp in Chicago June 4-7, the league announced today.
Drexler joined the Nuggets as a special assistant to General Manager Kiki Vandeweghe prior to last season and moved to the bench as an assistant in December.
"We're delighted that Clyde has been selected to coach at the pre-draft camp," said Vandeweghe. "This is a great opportunity for him."
After retiring as a player, Drexler served as head coach at his alma mater, the University of Houston, for two years.
