Florida Floor Leader Scottie Wilbekin Set to Work Out for Nuggets

After evaluating nine players in 48 hours, the Denver Nuggets will continue to take a look at draft prospects Monday at Pepsi Center.

Scheduled to work out are Isaiah Armwood (George Washington), Davion Berry (Weber State), Roscoe Smith (UNLV), Chris Udofia (Denver), Trevor Wages (Colorado School of Mines) and Scottie Wilbekin (Florida).

Wilbekin, 6-2, 176, was the senior leader for Florida, averaging 13.1 points and 3.6 assists as the Gators advanced to the 2014 Final Four.

Berry, 6-4, 183, averaged 19.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists and was named MVP of the Big Sky Conference as a senior. He also was a two-time All-Conference first-team selection.

Smith, 6-8, 205, received honorable mention for the All-Mountain West selections after averaging a double-double of 11.1 point and 10.9 rebounds as a junior last season.

Udofia, 6-6, 205, averaged 12.3 points and 5.4 rebounds as a senior for the Pioneers.

Wages, 6-8, 235, led Colorado Mines in scoring (13.7 ppg) and rebounding (9.4 ppg) as a senior last season.

Armwood, 6-9, 208, averaged 12.7 points and 8.4 rebounds as a senior in 2013-14.

The Nuggets hold the 11th overall pick in the June 26 NBA Draft, as well as the 41st and 56th selections.
