If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and who would you take with you? If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Europe. I would love to be able to travel all around the continent with my older sister.
Do you have any superstitions? I always touch a screw when I drive over a railroad track for good luck.
Nicknames? Em, E, Squid, Squirrel, Emers, Hoobaganoosh
One food item you could not live without? Most definitely chicken - wings, fried, grilled, anything!
Favorite outdoor activity in Colorado? Does shopping at an outdoor mall count? I’m really not a fan of the outdoors but I did go white water rafting once...I guess I can count that!
Favorite holiday? Christmas
If you could have any superpower what would it be? Teleportation - There’s not enough time in the world for normal transportation!
Favorite Disney princess? I would say Megara from Hercules, but if I need an actual “princess,” it’s a toss up between Belle and Ariel.
What would we find in your refrigerator right now? Some ham and some string cheese...
If you were written about in the local newspaper, what would be the headliner? “Post game Nuggets win, local dancer exclaims, ‘I’m going to Disney World!’”
Favorite dance style? Jazz/Pom
Favorite dance move? The Time Step in Tap!
Favorite part of being a DND? Having the opportunity to learn and perform routines from some of the nation’s most renowned choreographers is incredible! But ultimately, being able to represent Denver and the Nuggets organization both in the arena and in the community has to be my favorite part of being a DND!
Tell us something the fans wouldn't know about your job as a dancer... Most fans probably don’t know how much time and preparation goes into each and every routine we put out on the court. From learning, cleaning, and perfecting each routine, so many hours are focused towards every in-game performance.
Your favorite DND sponsor? The Palms Tanning Resort
Most memorable moment being a dancer for the NBA? Representing both the DND and the entire Nuggets organization at an Iowa Energy game was one of my most memorable moments. We went to Des Moines in support of our D-League team for their Denver Nuggets Night where we were able to cheer on and perform for the Energy and their fans. It was awesome to bring some of our favorite dances out to Iowa and the same intensity that we have come game time here in Denver.
