Team Fit encourages fitness among children in grades K-5 in the Denver metro area. Classrooms that register receive fitness scorecards and program instructions and are asked to participate in the program at least twice each month. The scorecard features diagrams of physical feats such as push-ups, sit-ups, shuttle run, jump rope, and timed run.

Teachers chart the progress and participation of their classes and post one scorecard in a visible area for students. Physical education teachers must submit one scorecard to the Community Relations Group and winners will be selected based upon their percentage of participating students as well as their frequency of participation.

Winning classrooms are eligible to receive a variety of prizes including a player appearance, Rocky appearance, game tickets, and/or team merchandise.
