The National Basketball Academy The Denver Nuggets have partnered with the National Basketball Academy to present the official Nuggets Youth Hoops Program. The Youth Hoops Program consists of Nuggets camps, clinics, leagues, and individualized training, all of which are designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and positive atmosphere. Excellence in Athletic Training in Colorado High Schools The High School Athletic Training Program Awards were established in 2003 Denver Nuggets Head Athletic Trainer Jim Gillen to recognize outstanding high school certified athletic trainers and their athletic training programs in Colorado. In 2011, the High School Comeback Athlete of the Year was established to recognize the effort required by both an athlete and trainer to recover from an injury. More information |
