MOBILE, Ala., Sept. 27 -- NBA stars Reggie Miller, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Jalen Rose and Toni Kukoc are among those scheduled to take part in an Oct. 9 preseason game that will bring NBA action to Mobile, Alabama and raise funds for the victims of the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington, D.C. The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. at the Mobile Civic Center -- home of the National Basketball Development League's (NBDL) Mobile Revelers, a charter team in the NBA's new minor league.

The NBA, the NBDL, the Hawks and Pacers, the Mobile Revelers and the city of Mobile have teamed up to donate all ticket proceeds from the game to the American Red Cross Liberty Disaster Relief Fund and the American Red Cross' Alabama Gulf Coast local chapter. The game is being presented by NBC-15, a member of the Clear Channel television station group.

The Indiana Pacers will be led by five-time NBA All-Star Reggie Miller, rising star Jalen Rose, former University of Alabama star Derrick McKey and rookie Jamison Brewer from Auburn University. The Atlanta Hawks roster now features Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Toni Kukoc, Theo Ratliff and Jason Terry.

The Mobile Revelers will tip off their inaugural season in the National Basketball Development League, the NBA's new minor league, this November with home games at the Mobile Civic Center.
