The network will also televise live in HDTV the Houston Rockets at New Jersey Nets matchup on March 31 (7:30 pm/ET) and the New York Knicks vs. Washington Wizards matchup on April 14 (7:00 pm/ET).
Both telecasts feature matchups with huge playoff implications as Yao Ming and the Rockets look to secure a playoff berth and Michael Jordan and the Wizards go head-to-head with the Knicks as the teams vie for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot. This game also marks Jordan’s last regular season game at home.
The live games will be offered in HD format to DIRECTV and DISH Network HDTV subscribers on channels 198 and 9425 respectively.
