Jackson Praises Kobe’s Leadership
In the LOS ANGELES DAILY NEWS, Elliot Teaford writes “in the final days of training camp, Lakers coach Phil Jackson questioned Kobe Bryant's commitment to the team. On Tuesday night, Jackson praised Bryant for his willingness to lead the team. ‘Very impressed,’ Jackson said of Bryant before the Lakers faced the defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs. ‘He's put a lot of energy into this team. He's been vocal. It's been going very good for him.”
