LeBron Earns Special Nickname In China
In the CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER, Emily Patterson writes “at home, he is "King James." In China, he's "Little Emperor." LeBron James' honorary title, of course, doesn't refer to the 6-8 small forward's size. In China, where "little" also means "young," James is seen as the leader of the NBA's new generation of players. As evident by the fans who swamped James during the Cavaliers' exhibition trip to Shanghai, Chinese don't only see him as leader within the NBA. He's the idol of an entire young generation of Chinese basketball fans and players.”
