"The Charlotte Bobcats have a verbal agreement to sign Argentine forward Walter Hermann, coach -general manager Bernie Bickerstaff confirmed Thursday," writes Rick Bonnell of THE CHARLOTTE OBSERVER. "Bickerstaff said Hermann will sign a one-year contract with the team holding an option for a second season. Bickerstaff didn't specify financial terms but said the Bobcats are now approaching the minimum payroll stipulated by the NBA's salary cap for next season."
