Bulls, Paxson Strike Fast to Land Wallace
In the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, John Jackson writes that "since the stunning news broke Monday night that Ben Wallace will leave the Detroit Pistons to sign as a free agent with the Bulls, most of the focus has centered on the Bulls finally filling their glaring hole in the middle. But the bigger issue -- the question that Pistons executives, no doubt, are asking themselves today -- is how did the Bulls swoop in and hook the biggest fish of the free-agent class in barely more than 48 hours? The short answer is Bulls operations chief John Paxson knew what he wanted and devised a winning game plan to make it happen."
