Slow Start for Stevie's Knicks
"Earl the Pearl and Clyde it wasn't. But then, nobody ever really believed the Knicks' hyperbole about Steve Francis and Stephon Marbury teaming to form a backcourt comparable to the legendary Earl Monroe and Walt Frazier," writes Greg Logan of NEWSDAY. "Unfortunately for Francis, the highlight of his Knicks debut was the uncontested three-pointer he hit from 28 feet out at the final buzzer; it cut the final margin of another loss to the Nets to 94-90 Friday night at Madison Square Garden."
