Everyone was working to refocus on the Toronto Raptors and Saturday's first game, notably Brook Lopez, who's been waiting longer than any player or coach for the Brooklyn move to become a regular-season reality.
Also, General Manager Billy King said that while bone spurs caused the inflammation in Deron Williams' injured ankle, the condition is manageable and will be cleaned up after the season. He noted several players to deal with the injury throughout a season to no adverse effect, including Kyle Korver, who played for King in Philadelphia.
