OAKLAND, Calif.—Another slow start offensively didn't prevent Klay Thompson from continuing to shoot.

That's just the way Golden State coach Mark Jackson wants his second-year guard to think.

Two nights after going 2 for 14 from the floor and missing a potential game-winner at the end of regulation during an overtime win against Dallas, Thompson found his rhythm - in a big way.

Thompson made two 3-pointers and scored 10 of his 23 points during a pivotal run late in the third quarter and the Warriors held on to beat the Brooklyn Nets 102-93 on Wednesday night.

THE STAT: The Warriors outrebounded Brooklyn 43-35 and improved to 7-0 when winning the battle of the boards. They're 0-5 when they get outrebounded..

TURNING POINT: Trailing 63-60 with under four minutes left in the third quarter, the Warriors went on a 14-3 run and took a 74-66 lead into the fourth. Thompson started the run with a 3-point basket, and Curry ended it with a four-point play – drilling a long 3, drawing a foul and sinking his free throw. Thompson had eight points during the spurt..

Led by Andray Blatche (11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists), MarShon Brooks (9 points, 4-8 FGs) and Josh Childress (8 points, 3-5 FGs), the Nets' bench outscored the Warriors' bench, 33-19...Keith Bogans, starting in place of Gerald Wallace (who rested his recovering ankle due to the back-to-back), posted 6 points and 3 rebounds in 22 minutes...Deron Williams led the team with 8 assists.
