Nets Scrimmage Hard, Deron's Bounce Back

With Hurricane Sandy and the "Frankenstorm" looming, the Brooklyn Nets ran a full scrimmage most notable for the return of guard Deron Williams, who missed two practice days after receiving an injection in his left ankle on Friday. Williams looked to have good lift off the once-creaky wheel, elevating for several three-pointers and working the defense for assist opportunities, the most impressive coming during a broken play, when Williams tossed a line-drive above Andray Blatche's outstretched fingertips and into the hand of Gerald Wallace for an alley-oop dunk that put distance between the squads late in the scrimmage.
